Zenith Defy, 02.0360.380, Cal. 2572PC

£850.00
sold out

A proper mid 1970s Zenith Defy from the period where the line was at its most distinctive. Heavy steel case, integrated bracelet and a design that feels closer to equipment than a conventional watch. Robust, angular and made to take wear.

The case measures approximately 37mm excluding crown, but wears larger thanks to the slab sided construction and integrated bracelet. It remains unpolished, showing dinks and surface marks throughout, but crucially retaining its original edges and geometry. Nothing softened, nothing rounded off.

The crown is screw down and signed, correct to the model, reinforcing the Defy’s tool watch credentials.

The dial is super crisp. Clean printing, sharp markers and a balanced layout that offsets the industrial feel of the case.

The bracelet is the original chatelaine style, fully integrated into the case and a key part of the design. It measures approximately 19cm and wears comfortably despite the block construction. The clasp is signed and correct.

Inside is the Zenith calibre 2572PC automatic, a solid in house movement from the period. It is running well, with the date complication functioning as it should, both on quick set and through winding. Everything operates cleanly.

A strong, honest Defy from the right era - unpolished and correct.
