Omega Seamaster 30, Ref. 135.007-63, Cal. 286, 1962

£600.00

A classic early-1960s Omega Seamaster 30, dating to 1962, with the correct case reference 135.007-63.

The stainless steel case measures 34.5mm excluding the crown, wearing well on the wrist and very much in keeping with Omega’s larger Seamaster 30 cases of this period.

The case has been polished in the past and shows surface marks commensurate with age, but remains clean and honest with good overall shape. The Seahorse caseback is present and clear.

The black dial presents very well, with clean printing, applied batons and crisp “Seamaster 30” script. Please note that the dial may have been refinished at some point.

It remains attractive and evenly finished, and this has been reflected transparently in the description. Hands are correct in style and sit well against the dial.

Inside is the correct manual-wind Omega calibre 286, a reliable and well-regarded movement from this era. The watch is keeping excellent time on the timegrapher, running strongly with good consistency. Signed Omega crown in place.

Fitted to a leather strap. As with all vintage watches, this should not be considered water resistant.

A straightforward and wearable Seamaster 30 with the right proportions, a strong movement, and a clean overall presentation.
