Omega Seamaster 14762, Cal 562, 1962

£950.00

Omega Seamaster reference 14762-61 SC, produced in 1962 and powered by the calibre 562 automatic movement. A classic early 1960s Seamaster, from a period where Omega combined robust automatic calibres with restrained, well-proportioned case design.

The dial is exceptionally well preserved and the watch has clearly been well looked after. Original silver with applied gilt baton markers and matching hands, finished with a rare and fine crosshair layout. The surface is remarkably clean, with a bright, even tone and no visible spotting, staining or deterioration. Printing remains crisp throughout, with correct Omega signature and “Seamaster” script.

The case is gold capped over stainless steel and measures approximately 34mm excluding the crown. It retains strong definition across the lugs and bezel, with only very minor wear visible to the edges of the lugs under close inspection. The proportions are balanced and typical of the reference. Crown is correct and signed.

Inside is the Omega calibre 562 automatic movement, part of the respected 55x family. Recently serviced and running perfectly.

Fitted to a high-end handmade black leather strap, paired with an aftermarket Omega buckle.

All elements appear consistent with the reference and period.
