– Omega Automatic, Cal. 552

– 1962 Production

– 32mm Excluding Crown

– Clean Dial With Light Patina

A really nice, honest example of a classic 1960s Omega automatic. Clean, simple design, well proportioned case and one of Omega’s most reliable in house movements in the Cal. 552. This is a great everyday vintage Omega that wears better than the dimensions suggest thanks to the longer lugs.

The dial is clean with light patina to the lower section and on the seconds hand, adding a bit of character without detracting from overall presentation. Printing remains crisp and the applied markers are tidy. Original acrylic crystal presents well with only light wear.

Stainless steel case is sharp and well defined. Light wear in keeping with age, no heavy knocks or abuse. Wears larger on the wrist than the 32mm measurement suggests due to the longer lug profile.

Calibre 552 movement is clean and running very well. High amplitude and low beat error on the timegrapher, keeping excellent time in testing. On an aftermarket black strap with a steel buckle.
