A lovely vintage Omega dating to 1960, housed in a British-made Dennison case, reference 13332. A classic mid-century Omega with sub seconds, honest condition, and strong wrist presence.
The dial presents with a distinctive matte, steely finish. It is potentially refurbished given how clean it is, with applied Arabic numerals that remain sharp and well defined. The sub-seconds register is crisp and well balanced, and overall the dial has a very pleasing, understated look that suits the watch perfectly.
Inside is the manual-wind Omega calibre 267, a reliable and well-regarded movement. It is running strong and keeping good time, with smooth winding and a reassuring feel. The movement serial dates the watch to 1960, which aligns neatly with the engraved presentation on the caseback.
The stainless steel Dennison case measures approximately 34mm excluding the crown. It hasn’t been over-polished and retains good original shape, with surface marks only, commensurate with age. Despite the nominal size, it wears larger on the wrist thanks to the broad dial and slim bezel. Original signed Omega crown fitted.
The caseback is engraved: “Presented to F. Dilloway by the Directors of Ansells Brewery Limited as a token of appreciation for 40 years loyal service, 1960,” adding period charm and provenance.
Supplied on a brand new black leather strap with an aftermarket buckle. An honest, wearable vintage Omega that looks great on the wrist and has clearly been cared for over the years.
