1979 Rolex Datejust presented in exceptional, near mint condition throughout.
Slate grey dial with a soft sunburst finish that shifts nicely in different light. The lume plots have aged to a warm orange tone and are uniform across the dial, giving it a really balanced look. All correct and original.
The case is in very strong condition with crisp lines and minimal surface wear. It has clearly been well preserved and retains its shape through the lugs and bezel. Fitted with a solid 18ct gold fluted bezel, which remains sharp and catches the light beautifully.
Fitted to its original Jubilee bracelet, which has just been professionally repinned. It feels tight, solid and close to how it would have worn when new, without the stretch typically seen on these. Clasp is clean, correct and signed.
The movement has just been serviced and is keeping perfect time.
