Ebel Sport Classic Wave wristwatch, reference 181903, with one of the rarest dial variants seen on this model.
The standout here is the slate grey dial, fitted with applied gold Breguet-style Arabic numerals and matching gilt hands. This dial configuration is extremely uncommon and rarely surfaces, especially in this condition. The colour shifts subtly in different light, sitting firmly between grey and blue, and gives the watch a very different presence compared to the more common silver or white examples.
Two-tone case with brushed stainless steel body and 18ct gold bezel, secured with five gold screws. Case retains its original shape with surface marks only, consistent with wear, and has not been over-polished. Original gold crown in place.
Front-loading 9 jewel quartz movement, calibre EM-1537-VO3#, with two-piece stem. New battery fitted and the watch is running well. Service sticker remains on the caseback.
Measures 34mm in diameter, wearing larger on the wrist thanks to the slim bezel and dial-forward design.
Fitted to an aftermarket black leather strap with gilt pin buckle.
A genuinely hard-to-find Ebel, with the slate grey Breguet numeral dial being the key point of interest here. Clearly a watch that’s been well looked after, and a strong example of the Sport Classic Wave in one of its most elusive configurations.
