An early automatic Omega from 1944, powered by the 17-jewel Calibre 28.10 RA SC. The watch has just been serviced and is keeping excellent time.
The 14k gold-filled case measures 34mm excluding the crown, with elegant downturned lugs and a tall domed acrylic crystal. The dial is exceptionally well preserved — an even eggshell tone with applied gold Arabic and arrow markers, original feuille hands, and a clean printed minute track.
Signed Omega crown, and inside the caseback Wadsworth 14K Gold Filled with reference 6021-3.
Fitted to a new black leather strap with a period Omega buckle.
A quietly refined and near-mint example from Omega’s first generation of automatic wristwatches.
